Upgrade from Vista to Win 7 fails...

    I bought and downloaded Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, to update my Windows Vista Home Premium on a Gateway desktop.

    The installation pauses/fails, telling me each time that I need to update Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adaptor #1 and Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adaptor #2.

    I don't see these listings in Device Manager, even when I select "show hidden devices".

    Any ideas?

    Thanks Major Plodr...what a nightmare for that poor guy.

    I plan to call Microsoft later today....I am not optimistic they'll be able to solve this, but will report back results if they do.
