Upgraded net!

For all those on ntl for their internet in the UK - it just got better!!!

Still for £24.99 a month, I'm cruising at 2mb, wooohooo!!!!

 

Not bad Half what I pay for half the speed I get I still cant belive Comcast pushed it to 4 meg!!! last test at Speak easy 4167 down 378 up!! wooo hooo

 

I'm getting the same deal... they're doing it to compete with the BT network upgrades, whcih means anyone currently on 512k can surf at 2MBit without costing the ISPs any more.

So, I'll be on 2MBit soon now, too YAAY

 

U.K. speed freaks only - Am on Plusnet and believe it is rated one of the best services. Have been told they will be upgrading from 1 to anything up to 8 sometime in April for the same money as now i.e. paying a base £14.99 Actually paying £17.99 to include 3 gig download. Let you know what they let me have, but should be accelerating.

 

I'm plusnet too the Broadband Premier is much better value, IMO, since it has a "fair usage" limit of 20GB of transfer, for the price of 9GB on Broadband "lite". You can find out what speeds your local exchange can accept by whacking your phone number into www.samknows.com
