upload file error (io error) from Safari and firefox

Hi all,

I am helping a friend build a wikispace and whilst we can write text to it, we cannont upload any pictures to it any more. it did work a week ago though...

it comes up with <URL> picname.jpg error during upload - please try again (io error) in both safari and firefox

uploading pictures to facebook doesn't work anymore- maybe this is a clue too?

We are using mac osx 10.5.8.

if anyone has any ideas it would be great - I'm a windoz person

Are you trying the same picture? Try uploading a different picture to wikispace and facebook. Also, try attaching a picture to a post here at MG.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried different images and also different file types and the issue is still the same.

we used my PC to log in and can transfer images, so that rules out a few issues right there.

I haven't got the mac here (it's at uni now), but it is a good suggestion to post to MG, and I'll try it when i can get to the mac.
