Uprade a Duron to an Athlon?

Hi, I'm wanting to upgrade from a Duron 900 (D950AUT1B) to an Athlon 2100+ (AX2100DMT3C) would anyone know if this would work, please.
I've tried reading up on this but I'm still not clear about it.
No mainboard manual is available, but specification on line states,
"Processor Support Socket-A for AMD Athlon /Duron TM uni-proccessor at 266MHz Front Side Bus with double data rate"

Mainboard is Jetway 663AS Ultra PCB R3.2
BOM Revision 05
Bios 3.11.01 30cb6
RAM 512MB
Power Supply 300W

Go down this list to the last xp CPU that is NOT in red. You will also need to make sure that you have the req. BIOS rev installed for that CPU to work. I believe that it is the one in your first post. It should be model AX2100DMT3C

 

While you're at it, you might want to think about doubling your RAM too, Windows will be much happier with 1gb

I assume that the bios rev can be done by flashing the bios, if necessary, and that the difference in BOM rev i.e. 05 exists 04 required is not a problem? Please correct me if my assumptions are wrong.
I don't have the PC here, it's actually an old friends, so I can't confirm the Bios just yet.
