I just got a text to say my boys have landed in Chicago!! I'm now entering what my son calls my "embarrassingly hyper" phase lol.

I was surfing the downloads section and decided Friday humor has come early this week. Good grief I could do with some. So, a little random and off the wall, I found this download for the gents.....

OM Freakin' G!!! I am so glad I had no clue to that until just now. Heck - I'm shaking just thinking about it. It's stressful enough knowing your kids are in the air without you as it is.

When exactly did all this start in the UK...I can't find details. It states 3 american airlines were the most targeted...anyone know which 3?

I need to know in case this changes their return flight plans.

 

I wouldn't worry lev it was only flights FROM england targetted at this time as far as I know, I will however let you know if I find anything out.

 

From what I know the UK police started arresting people at 2am UK time, and then made an announcement at about 6am.
The three airlines involved were United, American & Continental.

I think it may be settled down a bit by the time your boys go home, but I'm guessing the increased security measures will still be in place.

 

Crap. Oh well...I'll only send them back when I am happy it is safe

@Matt...I WOULD worry as my kids flew out of Heathrow to the US using one of the targeted carriers. (That's what parents do....worry!)

Right now I'm just feeling really humbled and sickened all in one go.

 

I meant not worry about the return flight tickest as it was flights LEAVING england and they already got there safely, so flifghts entering the UK from across the water shouldn't be disrupted.

Homeland Securities have placed the National Threat Advisory at HIGH (orange) for flights US to UK bound. I shall see how this sits when they are due to return. Right now, I would not put them on ANY flight, as authorities are still not 100% certain they have all possibilities covered.

 

I'd agree with you on NOT putting anyone on ANY flight until more inteligence is available

 

So have they arrived at your place yet...hopefully safe and sound...or are they still in the security line at Ohare??
