Urgent Help about QuickTime pls...

Hi can anyone help me bout this error when i'm trying to install quicktime pro. It says " Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid. C:\windows\installer\ {929408E6-D265-4174-805F-805F-81D1D914E2A4} -\1033.MST " Any suggestion on how to fix this error so that i could proceed installing the quicktime software? Any opinion is well appreciated. Thanks guys

I'm afraid I cannot help - I have exactly the same problem. Has anyone solved it?

 

Try running the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility here, http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459

If you have a previous version like TimW suggested, it should be listed. Just use the CleanUp Utility for QuickTime.

I have been using itunes for sometime and have Quicktime installed right along. Both Itunes (version 6.0.5.20) and Quicktime (version 7.0.3) seem to work just fine. The problem only arises when I attempt to install the newest version of Itunes (version 7.0.0). I have installed new versions of itunes a bunch of times and this problem has never arisen before. I'm baffled.

If I was getting any kind of "installer" errors, I would try it.
