urgent help needed no pc!!!

    pc re install went badly wrong, ended up with missing ntldr message, no floppy bootdisk, xp disc cant use , got windows 98start up disc , now at point of mssge error loading operating system, have spare tower and want to do quick fix, do i swap hard drive? and which one is hard drive?, i am blind here and need solution quick need to make a working pc out of two tonight
