Urgent Help!!!!!!

i need help badly here, here is the problem

This program called AntiVirus Gold has installed itself on my pc, it cannot be uninstalled or deleted and Norton and Spyware Doctor cannot pick it up, the program is installing viruses on my computer and then tells me that if i buy the product then they will fix it, its ransom and its spyware, the program has also done this to my desktop:

Hve you tried to go safe mode and delete the program or better yet manually delete the entry in the registry.

 

I had the same thing happen and it spawned CoolWeb. I followed the instructions for removing hijack and it solved most of my problems. However, I have yet to regain control of my background, so I can't help you there.

 

i sorted it, i restarted xp, and bumped my pc full of software

 

Did your desktop return to normal??
