    I thought, the often, overlooked female bloc, would push Hillary over the top (just an assumption- not necessarily a preference on that side) & was somewhat, surprised @ McCain's numbers. Don't think it matters who wins on the republican side, due to the inevitable backlash against that side via the current administration <(whether it's right, or wrong to feel that way).

    Non-candidate specific aside:

    Reagan cut taxes, during his first year & raised them each year for 7 years, after.

    Seems reasonable to think that, if taxes are cut- then spending must be, also....else Uncle Sam loses revenue to pay down the deficit. The proposed new budget has increased spending up to 3 trillion.
