usb 1 to usb 2 converter

    My father is looking a for usb 1 to usb 2 converter. I've never heard of this hardware. If there is such a thing would not be a little redundant because it would run through the usb 1 port?

    All USB 2.0 devices are backward compatible with USB 1.1 hubs, and vice-versa. Therefore, there is no need for a 'converter', which is why they don't exist.
