    Morning,

Boss just bought a new laptop, Compaq v3000, and we use wireless PCMCIA cards from Sprint (Novatel S620). The laptop does not come with a PCMCIA slot. After some waiting on HP\Compaqs tech support line, the lovely lady told me that laptops are using expresscard slots now. That's fine and dandy but I need to be able to use the PCMCIA card. Has anyone seen or made an adapter for a USB -> PCMCIA adapter, kinda like this but i would like to have a cheaper one as probably soon enough we will upgrade all of our laptops. So I was thinking of making a PCI/PCMCIA card into an external box that uses USB for data & power. So does anyone have ideas on how this can be done?
