    Hello you reading!

This may be small fry, but it still is very annoying and I tried all I could with my limited knowledges to try to fix this issue.

I'm using an oldy ASUS A7V8X-X motherboard and I've completely updated Windows, having all the SPs. But then the USB started failing on me. I've tried installing http://www.driverstock.com/ASUS-A7V8X-X-driver-download/6-9-10262/index.html those drivers but it doesn't really seem to do anything.

The USB ports show up in the device manager and theoretically functioning well, but the devices I hook up aren't read.

Does anyone know what this might be? All I can think of is that some or one of the patches has done something to cut it off or something of the like. It's very annoying as I desperately need my USB devices for my work!

    Help is deeply appreciated! :]

I suggest this. Open Device Manager and expand the section for USB. Right click on each item and click Uninstall. After ALL of them have been uninstalled, restart your computer. Windows will reinstall the USB drivers.
