usb flash drive nothing

    im trying to transfer all my data back from another computer, and i come to discover that the USB flash drive just isnt being read, i right click and try to format it, it doesnt give me any options to change.
    I have windows XP home edition.
    I read through some of the archives and cant seem to solve my solution after reading up for half an hour :(

    success! i went into a series of folders and under COMPUTER MANAGEMENT, i had to reformat the USB drive there
