usb headset issue.

Good evening,

Wondering if any one on here knows where i could find a driver for my HP Premium digital headset xa490aa. I have been searching for hours and had no joy, nothing on the HP site. It is supposed to be plug and play, it recognizes the device but I am not getting any sound.

I have found the hardware id it is USB\VID_03F0&PID_A007&REV_0100&MI_00

but I can't find anything else. this is driving me crazy, tried so many things but not getting anything to work.

I have tried using windows update to the find a driver but no joy with that. running windows 7 by the way.

 

Make sure the headset is set as default.

 

I can't select it as default as it doesn't appear as a playback option.
