check that the USB ports are enabled in the mainboard setup, you will probably see a menu that says "integrated peripherals"

In bios may have settings to enable usb stuff
In Xp control pannel /Administrative tools/computer managment/Device manager what got showing related to usb.
Or Control Pannel/add and remove hardware/ use the Wizard.
Can check drivers/update/enable there and trouble shoot either way
Did your mp3 player work via usb on that pc before?
Does any other usb stuff work on that pc?
    Bad usb cable?
    Broken mp3 player?

Did you make any other changes while in bios?
You cant boot, try to enter bios again check all bios settings, maybe you changed something else by mistake,
If you cant enter bios again, you will need to reset your board, Then try again to enter bios, do this first before trying to boot, all bios settings will return to default settings
Here is link to help with bios settings
click on Bios Opt. Guide, on the left side of page, then on new page scroll down mid page click on free acess to bios opt guide

After a m-soft update pack both my usb ports are not functioning. I ran over the troubleshoot in XP but did not resolve this issue.

    1. Has anyone else experienced this?
    2. Can anyone list urls that might help?
    3. Does anybody have a suggestion for resolving this issue?

    Thanks
