Well, I am usually good enough to figure these problems out on my own, but this one has me stumped, and all of my friends stumped as well.

I will admit it, it was an error on my behalf. I was sick of the "Found new hardware" thing coming up when I plugged in my flash drive on my computer, so I started fooling around with the settings. After I did this, my USB pors stopped working. When I plug in a USB device now, it freezes up my computer. I checked out the Device Manager, and all USB ports are said to be working properly... Any suggestions or resolutions?

I've seen this technique reported to be a solution in some such cases. Open Device Manager, uninstall all USB items, and then restart your computer. This will force Windows to reinstall USB drivers.
