Usb problem

Hi!

I have an USB problem. My computer detects USB devices but it's not shown in my computer.

I've found a solution but it's not really practical. I have to right click my computer>manage>Disk management and it's there but it doesn't have a disk name as shown on the picture (Sorry i don't have an english menu, hope you navigate from this picture).

If anyone has any better solutions it would be very helpfull.

Hi

What Service Pack is your XP at?

If in Computer Managment you right click the USB drive as listed in your screenshot, do you have the option to activate? if so use that, then check My Computer.

The other option is another drive is using the same letter as that drive, could be another USB pen, so follow this and chaneg the USB drives letter to something like X and does it show up and info on changing drive letters here >>> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307844 (only do this on your USB Pen, do not do this with your HDD)

Hi!

I am using service pack 2.

Whell thats the only way i can use USB devices but i have to add the letter of the device beacuse it doesn't have a letter, and it still doesn't show up in my computer.I can only access to a device through this procedure.
