USB thumb drive.....

When I use my thumb drive on my home PC, it works fine. This is more of a cosmetic annoyance than any kind of problem, so it's really not important.... BUT- when I put in the thumb drive, the window pops up; you know, the "what do you want to do?" window. Anyway, there's a 'phantom' Opera entry in the list of options, and it only appears when a USB thumb drive or external drive is plugged in. The Opera entry doesn't come up when a blank CD/DVD is put in.... the attached screen shot should explain what I'm talking about.... so, what's the deal with that? Opera runs fine, the PC runs fine, the thumb works fine, all external drives work fine, so there's no real issue, just an annoying blemish...

    Hi dlb

Try this to remove that entry http://windowsxp.mvps.org/autoplayhandlers.htm also Ramish has posted the registry keys for the location of the autoplay handlers so if you want to get dirty in the registry you can.

Many items are listed so just look and remove the Opera one.
