USB to a parellel adapter for an HP PSC 500 printer

    I cannot seem to get the driver for the above printer to work on my Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Have been trying for 3 days now.

    Thanks for responding so quickly. Yes I have gone to HP website and have done everything to check out a possible problem.

    I am having a problem with windows setting up the printer.:)
