As a hobby I work on computers for people in the neighborhood and for people from my church.. Several have ask me to upgrade their computer with a larger hdd. I am looking for a program that will allow me to connect a small hdd to one usb port and a larger hdd to a second usb port and clone the smaller to the larger....
    So far I can't find anything that will do that.....Thank you...Bob M

I have done similar things using Acronis True Image (Home) in the past. Not free, but a useful investment.

This will clone SATA, you may have to resize the drive afterwards.
When you buy the replacement drive, they come with software that will help you migrate the drive (clone), so you really only need one USB device to connect it to the current system, unless you're pulling the drive out and doing it. If you're going that far you could possibly 'slave' the new drive in the system and migrate the drives with additional hardware and likely faster than USB.

Or get a USb dock like...BlackX Duet
