USB Troubles

    I keep getting a message that windows does not recognize my usbs. I have windows xp home edition and this is on a lap top toshiba terca te2100. Hope someone can help:rolleyes:

    Best bet is to go to your control panel, system, hardware, device manager. From there look for yellow exclamation points (which indicates a problem) and right click and remove them. Reboot, let it redetect it. If not, you need new motherboard drivers.

    Well there is no exclamation marks next to the usb in device manger. but I went and uninstalled anyway and than reinstalled and the message went away but than after I used the usb it came back again. Both ports work but windows is not recognizeing it for some reason.:eek:

    Did you try system restore, Just incase something in windows was messed up?
