USB weather station will not reconnect.

    My Watson Weather station will not re-connect after being disconnected or the PC turned off. It appears in Device manager as a Human Interface Device - HID Compliant Device and USB HID. I can only download data from the device if I uninstall these two, then disconnect and reconnect the USB when Win XP goes through the 'New Device' routine. The Software is 'Easyweather'.

    1. Unistall the 'Easyweather' software / unplug Watson.
    2. Disable/Delete any unassigned USB HIDs that Windows 'New Device' creates.
    3 Shut down the computer ( hardware restart does the registry purge.)
    4. Elevate your priviledge state to Administrator.
    5. Install 'Easyweather' software.
    6. Plug in Watson. Now, that the drivers are pre-installed, Windows 'New Device' code remains asleep.
