Used TCP Optimizer now I lost internet cx!

I tried posting on TCP Optimizer's forum at speedguide.net, but to no avail.
I tried to tweak my internet speed at home, but when I rebooted, I lost my internet connection. I slid the broadband amt. all the way to the right, to a higher setting, and switched from my pc's Intel modem to my Comcast modem. I also clicked on modify registry and modify all networks. I use a wi-fi connection using Netgear. I have Windows XP on a Dell pc. I tried to repair the internet connection, but it said it was trying to clean the cache somehow, and could not repair the internet connection. I have seen that error before but had connection so I didn't worry about it. Is there a way to fix this so I can get the internet connection back?

Try to find out what is wrong with the Network configuration.
