User account/website issue

    My wife does much of our banking online. Recently, she has been unable to log in to our bank's website, but only from her user account on our Dell laptop. Other user accounts on the same computer have no problem. After entering the user name and password for the bank site, then clicking the submit button, the browser will very briefly appear to be advancing into the website, but will stall and give no error messages. Need more info? Just ask.
    Any suggestions?

    This is probably not a networking issue .....has she cleared out her internet cache lately ....you're run virus scans?

    This description on the Help and Technical Forums page for the Networking forum is why I posted here.
    Virus and spyware scans are run daily on all internet connected computers in our home. I have also run CCleaner a couple of times thinking it might clear any unwanted browser settings.

    More info...
    Now that I think about this, it seems to have started when I uninstalled the newest beta version of Internet Explorer 7.

    That will do it .....are you using IE6 now? Go to tools/ programs/ and reset web settings.

    Already thought of that and tried it. Resulted in no improvement.
