User account will not delete HELP!

    I am running XP on my computer I went to delete a user account that was a limited account and it will not delete it just freezes up and nothing happens. When I do try to log onto that account the files are gone but the account still exists. How can I get rid of it?

    Try delete in safe mode by pressing f8 on boot,and log as admin.

    Thank you I finally got it to delete, going into safe mode worked and I was able to fix some other errors as well. Thanks a bunch. ;)
