How do I stop the wlecome screen from asking for a password at startup? There currently is not a password. I've left it blank.

I use TweakUi from M$ powertoys in Windows XP....

will this work in 2000 or is there a set of powertoys for Windows 2000?

Yep Automatic Login is a great way for home users to have a strong password without needing the hassle of typing it every time you start the computer.

yes it does skip some security, but I never turn my computer off... just reboot occasionally with new software or driver installs...... and it is my home computer....

I would never use this feature on a work/community computer of any kind
