I haven't checked it on several machines, but I'm working on someone else's computer and I keep getting an access denied error when I try to open up the Cookies, Local Settings, Application Data folders. Anyone know what's going on with this? It's showing those sub-folders as a short-cut, and I'm not sure where they are at. I feel like I'm going crazy or something....

Yea thats cause you dont have permission to access someone elses data folders.

Here's the thing: I'm logged in as that user, who is the one and only user on this machine, and the admin, etc.

    Thats by design.

Why do you want to access them, out of curiosity?

The user isnt the owner of the files....SYSTEM is.

Ah ha! That would explain it. I want to access them out of
    A) Curiosity
    B) Because I want to make sure everything that can be deleted is before I start running AV scans on this POC.
