    Hi

I normally use only the regular cleaner function in C-Cleaner, and today just hit the "issues" button, and "scan for issues", and it shows me about 80 "issues" that can be "fixed"...what really are these issues? (see screen shot below). do these have to do anything with the registry?..i don't want to delete/"fix" anything that will cause problems..

Any of you guys ever use this "issues" tab? if yes, are these "issues" safe to delete?

    Thanks a lot.

I use it...I "fix" them, which often can be that they are deleted as they are dead links to software I have deleted or moved a lot of the time. If you are at all uncertain, seek help before deleting ones you are uncertain about. Often if you read the link address, it will state the software it refers to, and you will then know if it is something you recently removed from your machine.

Thanks, Lev...I'll try that. I think Ccleaner backs up all the stuff it's going to delete anyway, so I think I can put any back into the reg if i delete something useful

...hmm...my desktop doesn't look too bad on the scr shot :)

It will ask you if you wish to back up the registry before running Ccleaner for issues. Always do this, just in case.

Fixing Issues is exactly what I use CCleaner for most. It finds left over pointers to programs you have uninstalled that just clog up the registry. The registry is big enough without leftovers! I've never had a problem with CCleaner removing anything of value. It is very safe from my experience. The first time you use it, just make sure to let it make a backup/undo and rename the file to something you can recognize.

Just one tip about CCleaner: It only makes a backup/undo of changes it makes, not a complete copy of the registry. Just mentioning this because I once thought since I used this program often that I had several complete backups of my registry. This isn't true. CCleaner just keeps records of changes it makes not your whole registry.
