using network printer with iphone4

Hi all,

I can find very little info to my query and hoped the community might shed some light.

I have a wireless network running. The iphone4 with 4.3 firmware is happily connected to it.

I can use the iphone to webbrowse my HP printer interface successfully.

I try to print a doc and when I search for printers as part of that process, it can't find it.

it all stops just there really!

Hi

Offhand I have only seen Wifi printing to a HP printer available and info HERE, luckily I have a Wifi HP Printer and/or via AirPrint but you need a AirPrint enabled printer.

While you can connect via HTTP ok, as far as I remember you need an app to control or allow you to locate/list said printer in the options for printing the doc, as you need some sort of printer driver which the HP apps I mentioned above have, but if you sadly don't have a capable printer that uses those apps, then your out of luck, unless someone else knows an option or new app, I'm a month or so behind on what apps are now new on the apps store as I moved for my daily use to a Windows Mobile 7 phone as I wanted Mobile Office.

I've not found an option as yet for the iPhone/iPad.
