I'd like to use OpenSSH, or any SSH server/client that works, to connect to my PC from work to home. I'll then use a remote desktop client to connect directly to the machine (like RealVNC) to do what I need to do. Does anyone know the specifics of how (or if) this is done? Thanks in advance.

Have you already reviewed the OpenSSH site? All the resources are there.

Or you may want to look into an alternative, like OpenVPN.
