Using Password In Peazip

Hi Guys,

I have got peazip portable version 6.0.1. on my external hardisk. I have a folder that contains a very lengthy Microsoft documents and PDF documents. I want to use a password very securely on the folder. How to do that? You step by step method?

Note: I don't use peazip; I'm a 7-zip user so I'm not familiar with the program you are using.

I tried the link but all in vain. Is 7-zip portable available for the use of external hardisk? If yes, give me its link and explain how to use a password very very securely on a folder having word and pdf documents together?

Instructions:

Archive the folder with 7-Zip:

1) Right Click on the folder you want to protect
2) Go to 7-Zip then click on Add to Archive…
3) Make sure that the Archive Format option is set to Zip if not change it
4) Under Encryption select method AES-256 and type your password then retype it below
5) Click on Ok
