Ok, so I've tried running through the Read & Run me thread to make some progress, but to no avail. Let me kind of outline the issues I have here. (running on vista)
    1. When I turn on my computer, it goes through the standard boot sequence, loads windows, (welcome screen) etc... However, instead of displaying my desktop and icons, I just get a blank screen. The only way I can do anything is by pressing shift 5 times and going through the stickey keys thing. Anyway, after approx 3-5 minutes, my computer will close all that out and I'll be looking at a blank screen again. (repeat pattern)
    2. I know through the read & run me thread that I am at the very least infected with something called brontok, trojan.dropper/gen, and trojan.agent/gen-loader. (found that out from the superantispyware pgm) Unfortunately, before any of the programs from the thread can completely run, my computer will go blank again so I make no progress with it. Nor can I generate any logs...
    3. I cannot logoff windows so I cannot finish the user account control. If I do try logging off, it just sits there forever!
    Other items of note:
Before it got this bad, I realized i had something called new folder.exe problem. I tried searching the web for some assistance and any time I went to a site about it, my computer would automatically logoff windows and restart.
When I use the sticky keys method of getting into my computer, if i run a thing called desktop.exe, it'll display my desktop, icons, etc... everything looks like it's ok, but its very unstable then.
So, I know there's a lot there, but any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated! I know i'm making it difficult w/o having logs to post, but if your expertise could atleast help get me to that point, I'd be forever greatful!!!! Thanks!!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Did you actually try running MGtools.exe?
Did you try safe boot mode if normal boot mode would not work?
Also unplug your cable to the internet while running scans and see if that helps.

Without seeing some logs, we cannot get started on making any suggested fixes. Also we could do is send you to some other potential scans which may just meet with the same problems you already described. If you truly cannot run anything at all, you may find yourself left with the below options:
