Utube for kids comp

I am trying to get an IBM T21 w/ W2K sp4 (fresh install)usable for a kid. Utube won't run w/o adobe flash and when I try to run the download it keeps giving me "The procedure entry point SetDllDirectoryW could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

Having trouble w/ the Ethernet connection even after trying to install the drivers from the Lenovo site. This is secondary, as the wifi is working OK.

but not to be that jerk, but you might be better served with a Linux distro on the old hardware.

 

Flash Player 10 may not be accepted by Youtube and numerous other sites.

To install the latest Flash Player version, download the offline installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help...ms-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_header and save it to disk.

Follow the instructions in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1012569 to make the installer ready for Windows 2000.

 

Thanks guys, that allowed access to vids, even though they still won't stream. Didn't expect them to, the cpu is too slow.
And I agree foogoo, Linux would be better, but kids usually start out in windows due to more software support.

One question though, how come the links posted by plodr are so much larger? The smaller plugins worked fine.

Older archived Flash Player versions contain all previous versions; newer archived versions only contain that specific version.
