Got to the show early last night. Opening band was Bob Marley's son or grandson, I forget. Tight band, great vocals, sounded like Marley but he had his own thing going on. Great performance. That being said, I think that it was silly to have them opening for VH. They should have put another guitar slinging band in the opening spot. Would have paired up much better.

8:15pm, the lights drop, the guitar warmup, preshow wailing starts and its hellaciously loud!! Insert ear plugs or die!

They open with You Really Got me and proceed to play for 2hrs 20 mins nonstop. I've only had maybe 2hrs of sleep and had to get up at 430 for work so Im going to make this really short cause my brain is starting to malfunction.

DLR - Simply amazing. His vocals were great! He backed off of where he knew he couldn't go and didn't try and over do it. Solid performance.

AVH - This guy is so underated it should be a crime. Never missed one beat, kept the train steamrolling ahead the entire show. Freaking powerhouse this guy is and his drum solo was badass!!

WVH - I give major props to this kid. He is 16 yrs old and holding his own on stage. He was running around a bit last night, so his stage presence is getting much better. His vocals were damn good for a 16yr old. He even did a bass solo. He was tapping the crap out of that bass all night at some points I though he outshined his dad a bit in this aspect.

EVH - Wow. On some songs he was ON FIRE!! Others you could tell he was getting tired. The guy played his freakign heart out for over 2 hrs. Main guitar of the night, white wolfgang. Sounded good, didn't really seem to have any issues with it at all. He played a few other Charvels as well. These both had slight tuning issues. Nothing like the youtube vids we have all seen, but they were a little off. His solo was great!! Yes he played some of the stuff he usually does but he did it tasetfully. Took time to interact with the crowd and didn't over do it. It wasn't super long either which was nice.

Bottom line is, if these guys come to your town, go see them. Great show, great energy , would NOT hesitate to pop for tickets again!!

Now, im going to crawl under my desk and catch a nap....

*Disclaimer* I posted this thread on another forum and it had a few explatives in it. Think I replaced them all but my brain isn't functioning so forgive me if I missed a few...
