vantec spectrum fan card????

greetings .. im considering a vantec spectrum fan card .. has anyone on here used one??if so ,, do ya think its a good rig??i use a asusv9520-x fx 5200,, 128 meg graphic card . theres NO FAN . and im thinking about overclocking it a bit . do ya think this fan would help much??any ideas or suggestion , would be more than welcomed . seems like this forum is very,,, OPEN , AND IMFORMATIVE .. good stuff . great work .. cheers ..

 

If you're overclocking then yes you need cooling of some kind. I know that Vantec make some good fans for gfx, can you show me which one you were looking at?

 

its the vantec spectrum .. it fits in the pci slot .. since i posted this , ive added several fans , includeing one on the top of the heatsink .. but overclocking , still seems to run the card kinda hot .. maybe water cooling would be better , but its kinda expensive ,, for this rig .. ive resolved myself , that this rig will never be A GAMING COMPUTER .. ha ha .i guess thats why those rigs are thousands of dollars .. ha ha .. ill just happily play on this old rig , until i can afford to get something better . and i feel overclocking this rig , makes no BIG DIFFERENCE .. anyways .. thanks for the reply . have a great weekend ,, cheers ..
