Various drivers needed

    So, I need various drivers. It would make possible for me to find them myself, but I cannot see what hardware I have -.-

    Well, I attached a full Everest log.
    Win XP x64 Pro

    Ookay. The motherboard is Acer F80M-2. I bought that computer as used, and I think it is slightly modified Acer Aspire E300.

    Hi

    Not well up on drivers for WinXP64 for any obscure hardware items, but the main Chipdset from Nvidia HERE for the nForce4 AMD chipset you have should cover many of the devices missing drivers, like the Chipset, Networking, USB etc

    Then do tell us what devices in Device Manager have a yellow ! mark? and maybe someone will jump in with suggested drivers for those missing devices.

    Oooookay. I do not have any GUI when installing some .msi files. Also, how can I install Windows Live Messenger 2009 on the computer? (managed to install -08 version)

    Do explain more on missing GUI, is this the whole of the Windows GUI disapears or just the installer window for a specific applicaton?

    Did your Windows fully update with all updates? just run WU again to check, then check to see if you have the Windows installer 4.5 is your Add/remove, if not worth installing this update to the installer files HERE (yours will be WindowsServer2003-KB942288-v4-x64.exe from that list)


    WLM is not XP 64bit compatible sadly (or officially) http://download.live.com/SystemRequirements But you could try this infor from Jonathan HERE
