VBR Mp3 with winamp 5.5?

    Hi i have an iriver 40gb mp3player and a large portion of the mp3's are encoded withVBR 192kbps mp3. When i play these songs on the mp3 player i have no problem but whe i play them in winamp every now and then the song will start to get all garbled and make scratchy sounds.

    Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
