Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with what I hope is a simple query.

I'd like to read the results of how fragmented a particular drive is into a VBScript variable. My target OS to run this on will be Win. XP (Home and Pro.) I am using WMI in my script and I know in Windows 2003 there's some nice built in functionality but in Windows XP I believe I'm gonna have to do things a little different!

For example, the fragmentation percentage of a drive (along with some other information) can easily be viewed by using the run command:

    defrag.exe c -a

But how can I read that value into my script?

    Thanks for any advice!

This is all I had time to look up, hope it helps.
