Alright, cleaning up a PC, it had a ton of issues. Now there is substantial OS damage, in the process of fixing that.

On my way to clear the software distro folder to fix the win updates, and I happened to notice this little guy.

Googled around a bit, didn't find anything substantial about it.
I personally have never seen this sort of folder and files here, neither has anyone else.

No scanning software will flag it as anything, but it looks very suspicious.

Advise please?

There's nothing suspect about that file -> adpahci.sys

Ah, I did not mean that specific file that is highlighted.

More the case of seeing all of those system files in that directory.
C:\Windows\snack

Very strange choice of name to be sitting in the Windows Directory.

My bad! I caught that alittle while after posting and have been researching that directory. *I've seen it deleted on a couple of malware removal sites.... I think that I'll bow out and let the Master Removal Expert go further with this one.
