Verifying DMI DATA POOL

Ok i have installed a new mobo it is an Abit SG-72 (not great i know ) and a new PSU well everything was fine windows was booting and shutting down as it should but the last day i have been having problems booting up it gets stuck at verifying dmi data pool so if i reboot quick i can get to windows, so any ideas would be nice thanx..

 

Try resetting your bios, or taking out the battery in your motherboard for 5 mins or so, reinsert the battery, and try again.

Have you installed this motherboard into a system that has a harddrive with windows already installed?if so might be best to reinstall windows.

Ricky i did reinstall the mobo to a HDD with preinstalled XP..may be this is the cause of the problem?

I am not going to try the reset of bios till later today, if it fails i will reinstall my windows..Thanx for the reply mate..
