This computer is super slow, but I'm not sure if it just b/c it doesn't have a lot of memory. I completed the "Read and Run me first" and was going to leave it at that, however, my computer cannot run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware again. When I tried to do the scan a second time I got an error message. I removed it, downloaded it again and got the two following error messages during the installation: Error loading database #54319(0) and Error loading database #56297(0):confused

I'm trying to clean and update this computer for my elderly mother. Thank you for your attention.

    Welcome to Major Geeks

You are not having malware problems. Your logs are clean.

Yes this is why it is slow. You need 4 times the amount or memory that is in this PC. You logs showed the below:
You cannot effectively run Windows with so little free memory.

Ah, good to know! I'm happy that there are no malware problems. Many thanks for reviewing the logs!!! :)

Could the lack of memory be the reason for the Malwarebytes' error messages? Or, maybe I need to disable the Firewall. :confused

Not likely since it ran the first time.

    NO!

Sounds more like a file corruption issue. Possibly uninstalling, rebooting, deleting all folders and file relate to MBAM and run this mbam-clean.exe then rebooting one more time. Then try reinstalling. If that does not work, I suggest posting at their forum http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showforum=41

I uninstalled MBAM and rebooted and still got an error message, but the program ran anyway. I stepped away from the computer and when I came back MBAM was scanning! Who knows if it may have run ok before. I assumed that it wouldn't b/c I rec'd the error message and started trying to solve the problem right away.

Anyway, I wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU Chaslang for all your help!

I hope you have a Happy Easter! :)
