Very Slow Running?

I have problems with a very slow pc in operation.

I thought it might be malware or virus related, although TimW has referred me here after confirming nothing found.

Whilst the pc is relatively low spec its operation is sometimes painfully slow, I accept that the internet connection is not fantastic at times but would be grateful for any assistance to establish if deeper problems exist.

from left column choose
Summary ( wait 30 seconds until report generated )
from bar menu select :

File
Save as Text file
choose desktop as saving location

even go to Start - Run type msconfig in blank - ok - navigate to Startup tab - ticked off antivirus only - Apply - Ok - windows told you about reboot your machine - do it !! :wave

What is your antivirus ? How many gb of the hdd is free ? Atom 1.60 ghz is slow to run win 7 premium 64 bit , 64 bit's edition need 4 gb of ram to run properly !! :wave

 

I think its System Mechanic that is causing your issue they are slow and bog the system down i have used them be for.

Advance System care is much better and its cheaper.

Live ID Sign-In tends too slow down pc But its purpose is for Running GTA 4 witch i know that.

But i don't Really see a Anti virus but Windows Defender

If you want to start to speed it up get rid of stuff you don't use clean out your Temp Folder.

Ok I see - the only anti-virus I have is within Zone Alarm.

The HDD are:

C - 108gb with 48gb free
D - 109gb with 85gb free

E (external) - 250gb with 224gb free.
