Very very odd!!!

Hello all

This is my first time on these forums so i apologize if i am on the wrong forum for my problem.

Ok i seem to be having major issues with IE, everytime i open it up within a couple of seconds and every 10 seconds a brand new window opens up sometimes blank sometimes some random website. Its so annoying its untrue, its happened a couple of times allready while i have been writing this which stops me halfway through the sentance and i have to close the offending window.

I have tried every spyware adware antivirus and popup blocker known to man and it still wont solve the popups. I also cant highlight any text in IE but can highlight text in every other program so i dont know if the two problems are related.

here is a my hijackthis log if that helps and i hope some nice person can take the time to help me on this as i have even formated my pc and it started again can you believe which is totaly freaky to me.
