VHS To computer help plz!

    Can someone please remind me what piece of hardware is used to get all my VHS videos to my computer,TY

    Man ,I went through this fiasco a couple of months ago. If you do it, get a hardware based capture card. After having all sorts of dropped frames, video/audio problems, I gave up on it. Had I started off with good card versus the el cheapo software based card I bought, I would have been OK. I'm holding out for a regular VHS/DVD recorder. Not to discourage you, but video capture work is a science unto itself. I was pretty ignorant and should have done more research beforehand.

    :eek: Hi. I agree with Crazy...I would want to get my tapes transferred to disc, first. Then, edit your life away later on, if you want to. That way, the original video footage is "safe".
