Hello, I have an HP Pavillion dv6000(front label says HP pavillion dv6704nr but the tag on the bottom says dv6700 to be specific). It has an NVIDIA GeForce 7150M graphics with up to 799MB of shared video memory. It has an AMD 64 AthlonX2. It originally had windows vista although versions of this computer had XP. I got fed up with vista and then loaded XP. Yes, I had issues, but with help from a few geeks at majorgeeks I was able to get through what I thought was all of them. I have two left I think. Problem 1 is when I try to play a DVD i get this message "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because it is not possible to turn on analog copy protection on the output display. Try installing an updated driver for your video card" and I have tried updating the video driver at NVIDIA and I reloaded some video codecs at MS. Problem 2 is audio related. My sound works well but when I mute it using the volume control I still have sound at start up and close even though it shows that its muted in the task bar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:-D
