    Hey guys,

First off: Well, it's been awhile since I made a thread here.

    Now for my question:
Is there a way to test a video card?
I have had that thread about my lagg problem with Minecraft and I tested my machine at CAN I RUN IT. (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/) Said I'm good to go. Was asking my buddy about it again( maybe that's why he won't reply to me anymore) and he said that it could also be my video card causing lagg, how could I tell?

Can we have the make/model of the card please? Also, have you compared it to base specs for minecraft and what settings are you using in the game re graphics?

The only way I know to test a graphics card is to install it in another computer and see if the same problem occurs there.

You can swap a different card into your computer, but that will not tell you anything about the old card because the 2nd card will require installing the drivers for it, potentially fixing the original problem. You would have to swap back, reinstall original drivers, then see if the problems returns.
