Video card selection

Need some advice on which brand of video card to get. I'd like a 768MB one probably with a NVIDIA 8800 GTX chip. What do you think the top three brands are?

 

What connection are you looking for? PCI, PCIe, or AGP?

That is a PCI connection.
The full story is I want to build my own PC and select all the components for the first time.
The mother board will be an ASUS M2N-SLi DELUXE nForce 570 DDR2 Memory Dual Channel SATA2. I have chosen ANTEC 500watt NEO H.E PSU Ver 2.2 for the power supply.
I was looking at an ASUS NVIDIA 8800GTX 768meg DDR3 video card when I saw Innovision (Inno3d) nVidia Geforce 8800GTX 768mb PCI Express priced at about 15% less. That's about another 2g of DDR2 to me.
