video driver

    Hi,Im new to this so please bear with me.Im not sure if i need drivers or what.I have a Compaq Presario f730us notebook.Came with vista installed but i didnt get a disk with it(Bought it used)I had problems so i re did the whole system with a new install of windows XP.Everything works except,i cant watch movies.I have sound but no picture.I have downloaded every driver from nvidia but nothing works.My video card is the GeForce Go 6150.Device manager shows yellow ?for video controller.When i click on it it says drivers for this device are not installed(code28)Im at my whits end.Been working on this for 2 days and figured i better have some help before i use the lap top for target practice.Thanks in advance to anyone who wishes to help.:cry

    Hi

    Very likely as XP drivers are not default to that laptop, a bit of hunting is needed for XP compatible drivers (if available), and this XP one for the Go 6150 may work.


    Could ask Compaq/HP support if they have a set of original restore CDs available for purchase for this PC.
