Video editing

Can anyone recommend any good video editing programs available for download? I want to make a video of me playing a game and host it online, I would use Vegas but it says I have to regester a plugin for .mpg and .avi ALWAYS comes out too big so I am looking for another program, any ideas?

 

If you can export it as AVI, you should be able to use Windows Movie Maker to export it as a WMV file. You can specify the file size so it will be a more convenient size for upload.

 

I can't use it, I have Windows Lite

 

Try this three different programs:

PowerDirector 5
Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0
Ulead VideoStudio 11

I'm also looking for a good software too... As I have research this three are the best... Though they aren't freeware.

I've used previous versions Ulead and it is good.. Really good... The others I don't know for sure.

 

Hmmm, I got Windows Movie Maker working, but I want to have 2 different files play at the same time, split screen, anyone know how I can do this?

 

Don't know if you can with Movie Maker.

Premiere Pro 1.5 can, maybe Premiere Elements can also. As for downloads, you might be able to get a free trial, but I don't know if all the functions work unless you get the paid for version. Have a look on ebay. Sometimes people sell older versions of Premiere cheap when they upgrade.

 

Try using the once I gave you. I'm sure in Ulead it has one.

When you use Ulead, does it not change teh extension to .dwz? I have Ulead and put it aside because I could not edit. Or maybe you can help me do it right. Thanks.
