Can anyone assist with my video problem? I have a FX 5200 card. It has been running smoothly for about a year. Now if the computer is unattended for more than 3 minutes the screen blanks out and then there is an message that there is a video error.

I have re-installed the driver which did not help. If you have any advice I would really appreciate it.

    Aloha

I found this solution. It looks like it covers all the bases for you.
Download the Nvidia driver. Does this look like the right one?

    Save it to your desktop.
Then uninstall everything that has to do with your video card, then restart in SAFE MODE and run Drivercleaner 3 or whatever driver cleaner program you have.
Then shut your system down and disconnect the power cable and monitor cable.
Remove the vid card from the mobo, then put it back in making sure its seated nice and tight.
Then restart the computer and when it says its found new hardware and starts the new hardware wizard, cancel the wizard.

Then run the new driver you've saved to your desktop.
